I visited home country China during Xmas time.

Something surprised me: We went to watch a circus show. As we know, China is a big country for circus (because Chinese endure extreme hard training). However on the stage, there were almost only blond westerners. Similar situation in Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai, when the parades came, the ones who were dancing and singing, were NOT Chinese.

We also went to couch surfing’s Xmas gathering in Guangzhou. Many of them came from other countries and work as English teachers. When we asked them why they chose to work in China, the answer was ”It is decent paid here, and fantastic life! ”

Who works in Ocean Kingdom in China?

Here is the fact: People come to China to get a job!!! It was not the same 10 years ago.

Another fact is: before my boys went back to China, they were not motivated to study Chinese, because it was tough. After they come back from China, they decided they should absolutely study Chinese. They think it was very cool in China.

I can understand that, there are no empty shops in China, full of people, full of products. It is an amazingly prosperous market. I was impressed: just for a smart phone covers, you have endless variation to choose.

Obviously, studying Chinese is the trend.
