The water is sweet in Sweden. The air is crystal fresh. The environment is beautiful and clean. People who live in Sweden have done a good job to protect the environment and make it a good place to live. In fact, Sweden is world leading in recycling. It is an amazing fact that: 99% percent of household waste is recycled!
How can Swedes do such a good job?—-The education for recycling already starts from school children. Here is my personal experience.
* Once, my son’s home work was to record the household recycles: milk packages, (or other carton boxes), glass, metal, paper, plastic.

*They have been to the recycle station called “Sofielund” for the education.

*The roof of the school building makes use of the sun energy.

* The school has organized environmental fair. The students made handcraft from the recycled materials. The outdoor furniture is just wonderful!
